I was watching Hitch on DVD at home the other night and I must say, it scores! It has all the ingredients that make you laugh and smile, melt the heart and send jolts of rejoicing feelings everytime truth and love prevails. Hey, what can I say, I'm sold.
Approaching the end of the show, my roomate joined in and sat near me. He noted that he feels rather hungry and he sure could use a bite or two. We continued watching the show. It got emotional and so did I. Just when you think you have all the time to let the feeling sink in, my roomie suddenly broke the silence and asked, "Eh, ko ada telur tak". In English it translates to "Hey, you got eggs?"
I looked at him, paused and said, "ada (I have)", both hands pointing my crotch.
"Dude, what kind of question is that?!" I said immediately and we both burst into laughter.
You don't ask a dude if he's got eggs? That's like asking if he's got balls, and in this case, in the middle of an emotional moment of a movie! I do have a pair, thanks for asking.
All eggs aside, it was a really funny situation, just one of those moments. Had to be there.
